ILSM is a charity dedicated to enhancing the vitality of our community by supporting the continued independence of people with disabilities and to encourage the pursuit of innovative projects alongside our community partners.
We are currently looking for an older adult for a Bilingual Marketing Coordinator position to join our team of committed professionals. This position within the Association is housed at ILSM in Sudbury, Ontario.
START DATE: April 2022 or as soon as possible
LOCATION: 125 Durham Street Sudbury, Ontario
HOURS: 21 hours a week (Short Term Contract) at $19.00 an hour
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work well independently and with others
Clear and efficient written and verbal communication skills
Bilingualism in both English and French
Current and satisfactory Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
Previous experience preferred but not necessary
Knowledge of fraudulent activity relating to older adults and people with disabilities
Knowledge of research platforms
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate a bilingual awareness campaign for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
Represent ILSM as you raise recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
Develop partnerships with community agencies across Ontario to support World Elder Abuse Awareness Daysessions and relating projects.
Identify and propose internal/external ideas and initiatives to help promote general awareness of the charityand their projects.
Recruiting, training, and supervising new volunteers involved with the project.
Working with advertising and local organizations regarding the project.
Other tasks, as required.
