About the Event
National AccessAbility Week 2026 is Coming!
From May 25 to May 30, Independent Living Sudbury Manitoulin will be hosting a full week of events that celebrate accessibility, inclusion, and community.
Throughout the week, we’ll be bringing people together through a variety of events, from community gatherings and interactive activities to high-energy showcases and opportunities to connect.

Monday, May 25
Proclamation at ILSM
Join us at ILSM as the City of Greater Sudbury officially kicks off National AccessAbility Week with a proclamation recognizing the importance of accessibility and inclusion in Greater Sudbury.
Tuesday, May 26
Lip Sync Battle at the Yes! Theatre Refettorio
Get ready for a high-energy evening of performances, entertainment, and community spirit as local oganizations take the stage for a fun and engaging lip sync battle where the winners. The winner will recieve a $500 cash prize for their charity!
Wednesday, May 27
ILSM Bake Sale
Stop by and support ILSM while enjoying a variety of baked goods. A great opportunity to connect with the community and contribute to the week’s activities.
Thursday, May 28
Cruisin’ for Inclusion
Take part in a community-focused event that brings people together in support of accessibility and inclusion.
Friday, May 29
Outdoor Night Market
Explore local vendors, enjoy the outdoor atmosphere, and connect with community members at this evening market event.
Saturday, May 30
AccessAbility Expo
Wrap up the week by visiting our carnival themed AccessAbility Expo, featuring local organizations offering resources and information that support accessibility and the disability community.
